NullRiver just released the new version of installer.app for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Included in the update: Slick new GUI, Changes to package-backend, Automatic update all repositories feature, Easier installation and update of sources, Update notification on icon, All aplications catergorised, New featured page, Only displays apps that are stable on your firmware.
Take note that 3.0 is built on the 1.1.1 iPhone and iPod Touch firmware therefore it’s recommended that you update your firmware first, there has been reports of the home button not working on 1.0.2. If you haven’t already jailbroke your iPhone or iPod Touch you have to install the old installer.app manually then update to 3.0 automatically through the installer.app. It’s a brilliant update and thanks again to the guys at NullRiver!
